About Pastor Ford
A strong heritage of family faith in Jesus Christ and a personal desire to pursue the plan that God designed for him, set the foundation for a journey through life that would bring Rev. Dr. Edwin E. Ford to the place in which God has him today, founding Pastor of Crossroads for Life Ministries (CFLM) since 1994. With fervor and at God’s direction, Pastor Ford left the security of family and the familiarity of South Georgia to pursue the Word-based training that God had in store for him in Metro Atlanta. His wife, Elect Lady Tracy Ford continuously serves as a pillar in the ministry of CFLM and as “Chief Supporter” of Pastor Ford by standing alongside her husband in faithful service, dedicated prayer and unwavering love. Their four children, Beyunka, Edwin Jr., Heaven and Emani faithfully serve in ministry as a family and continue to grow in the faith of Jesus Christ.
The ministry began with a few people having Bible Study in Pastor Ford’s living room. Within a few years, the ministry grew at a favorable rate and in 1997, CFLM moved to 1580 Flat Shoals Rd in Atlanta, Georgia. After seven years, the ministry blossomed and on January 16, 2005, the ministry moved to 6754 West Church Street, in downtown Douglasville, Georgia. On November 1, 2005, CFLM acquired the location, 6800 Cedar Mountain Road, Douglasville, Georgia, which housed the Life Center, Vision 21 Concepts and New Start Resources. The decision to “choose life” in Christ has not been without trials, but has constantly been grounded in faith in God and the truth of His Word. On October 4, 2009 we had our first service and later dedicated our new worship, “The House That God Built”, located at 6976 West Broad Street, Douglasville, GA.
